What I'm gonna blog about today...

My revision

Well, so far so good-- that's what I can say. I have finished my physics revision. sort of. I practised questions about waves from past paper. I used the word "sort of" because I didnt really revise the mechanics part of physics, as it is the same as the mechanics from my maths class. and I have already revised them. + Ms Denyer had already made us practise all the past papers on mechanics that she can get.

As for Economics... Well I have finished my revision for Micro, and will start Macro tomorrow. Should be able to finish before the exam. but the problem is, I still cant really do unit 2 (its about market failure). I understand the basics, but I dont know how to elaborate and evaluate... *sniff*

Virginia Water Lake

Went to Virginia Water Lake with choonko and family on Saturday. It is a nice place, but would have been nicer if there weren't so many insects flying around. I didnt want to follow at first, but Choonko and Uncle Atta said I needed a break from my revision so.. I brought storybook to read there lo:) I sat under a tree beside the lake. There were swans there too:) I sat until Uncle Atta's phone rang (it was in a bag beside me), which was also when I saw an insect (whatever it is, I dont like it) and sort of panicked.

Another place I moved to had termite-like insects there, Im not sure if its termite. I think it is.. Blah. Ohya, speaking of books, I finished reading Twilight!! In four days+ if Im not mistaken. I know, I am a slow reader:p haha. but finishing a book in less than a few months (or even forever) is very good for me. haha. It is such a good book, but the movie disappoints me. I was imagining Edward Cullen to be really.. well.. hmm.. special? and sort of innocent looking actually. and the movie summarized a looooooot of the parts from the book. I am gonna borrow the next one from Nabilah after she has finished it, after our exams (i guess).

There is another good book that I read few weeks ago named Presumed Guilty by Tess Gerritsen. Its about murder. siuk!!

What I want recently

I want...

- a booked recommended by Choonko called "Out" which is written by Natsuo Kirino. It's also about murder. It sounds really interesting:)

- I wanna learn Guitar!!! I dont know, I watched this videoclip from youtube, and really like it. haha. My senior (Tiffany) played this melody called "Marriage D'amour", which is normally played on piano and I really like it. I was bored that day and searched for it on youtube, and I found someone playing it on guitar-- its nice!! well its slower than the piano one, and it sounded a lil bit sad actually, but i like ittttt!! :)

Cooking

Choon ko bought taoki when we went to Korea Food (a superstore) last time, and knowing I love taoki soup, she asked if I wanna try cooking it. So she guided me how to cook, and went to pick Anisa and Yasmeen up from their ugama class after we have put everything into the pot. She also asked if I wanna try frying the vegetables and I said I want. So she just gave me instructions, and left:) hehehe. took the pictures of what I cooked, but malaskan upload. so i will just do it next time la:p They said it is nice.. ehehe.

Anyway, I had my M1 and M2 exam just now. *sniff* M1 was alright, I managed to correct my careless mistake at the end. but for M2.. Sigh. I finally spotted my mistake, and realised why i got wrong at first, three minutes before time's up. and i managed to change it, but the next part of the question, which requires answer from the first one, i didnt get to change it. *sniff*

I hope I did alright. the paper was harder than the other past papers that we have done before..

I am in Choonko's house now. hehe. half term hols for 10 days.

blah.. i dont feel like blogging now. but i want to update my blog at least once a week, which has to be today.. so.. yeah. blank liao. byeee

Yes, I did as I have said, I didnt go online until today=) Well it is not really that hard not to go online though-- not as hard as I thought. Not facebook-ing is not a problem at all, I dont know why. But not blogging caused a few problem-- I am not a regular blogger.. well, not anymore. but there are a few times when i feel like 'ohya! I can blog about this!' but I cant, because I said I wont. Yes, I might not look like it, but I do follow what I said I will do.

Anyway, this few days have been fine. In fact I feel quite happy. Life without facebook is sort of more refreshing. aha. Have been practising M1 and doing my never-ending prep recently. Exam is just a week to go, and we have got prep to do nearly everyday. Having prep is good, because it is a form of revision, but having prep few days before exam is just.. a bother. because I can only set my timetable for days when my study leave starts, as I cant really predict if I will have time to do my revision or not due to prep..

This may be awkward, but I wanna be a nerd before my exam finishessssss!! I wanna have a nerdy month.

Recently I appreciate stuff more than I did before..

We had 'sportacular' about a week ago, its an event held by our school to raise money for the Kenya people.. Few weeks ago, a representative from Kenya, I think he is sort of like a member of an Kenya-related association, came to our school. He showed us photos of Kenya students, and told us how much they appreciate our (the Godolphin's) help.

Not all students get to go to school because they dont have enough classrooms.

They dont get a constant supply of food. They have no choice but to starve at times.

Their houses are not like ours, some are just pieces of zinc attached together.

This is really saddening. I get free education, and I am lazy at times. I get constant supply of food, and I never really experience starvation, but I am always being picky and not eat what I dont like (sorry but I cant change this la.. but recently I have started eating some vegetable. bit by bit. its an improvement:D ). about the houses part, no comment la. because I have always appreciated that :)

I learned this from my economics class today:-

"People were needlessly throwing away 3.6 million tonnes of food each year. The Waste and Resources Acton Programme found that salad, fruit and bread were most commonly wasted, and 60 % of all dumped food was untouched."

I can't believe this is true.. but it is.

I have made up my mind, and I must not let this motivation of mine dies right now. It must continue until my exam is over. STUDY STUDY STUDY!! 加油！

From today onwards, I will only go facebook-ing and blogging every Friday and Saturday, and no other days beside that. If possible, and if i can control myself, I hope i wont even go online on Fridays and Saturdays.

Aini and I went to town on Thursday, to post something to someone, then went shopping.. hehe. We both bought a very cute whiteboard (which i forgot to take picture of and is lazy to), and colour pens in WHSmith. hehe.

At Woking:)

Uncle Atta brought us to car boot sale on Sunday.. Those people just sell all their second hand stuff there.. You can get stuff really cheaply there, or even for free because there are people who just wanna get rid of their stuff:D

Went to Korea Food Store that evening and I bought beras wangi there:D hehe. and choonko bought some ingredients for dinner.

Had "Japanese Food Night" that evening...

Ohya, the "Japanese food night" isnt all japanese food actually-- because of my bread & butter pudding. haha. forgot to take photo:p hehe. I walked to co-ops to buy the ingredients before we started making sushi. It was a really nice walk :) cool wind, bright sky-- hen shu fu lo~

At Stonehenge (Monday 4th May):

I had to go back to Salisbury today as my school reopens tomorrow, before that, we went to have a look at Stonehenge :)

This machine is really cool. You dial 99, then press the green button (play) and then you will be told what to press to listen to the history of stonehenge. There are numbers on different areas of the land, then you just press the number lo, then you will be told about the history of that area or something like that la. haha. Well i am not particularly someone who likes history.. so... haha. i just took a few photos lo.. haha

So I am here at Woking, in Choon ko's house now. hehe. am not productive todayyy ahha. I basically spent my whole day online-ing. but I had great fun. Webcam-ed with Pei Ling. hehe. It makes me FEEL brunei. FEEL FEEL FEEL.

Webcam oh webcam-- such a good invention.

Not only I can hear voices, or just see photos which cannot move (if it does i will run away XD), but I can see the real, moving person. as if shes just right in front of me.

Ba enough enough. This blog post is meant to be cheerful and happy and all. haha. but somehow it didnt turn out that way. macam emo tia :P hehehe. im not emo waaa~ hahaha
